Maybe a tiny bit of WB weld would help with any out-of-roundness between the bracket hole and the bushing? IDK

I think the JB weld would be in bearing or compression force, which should be fine.

Loctite makes a sleeve retaining compound that's used when installing center support bushings on transmissions. That may be another option?

I'm just thinking out loud here, so don't mind me...

That's an interesting thought.

They make the larger bushings for 0.020" and I think even 0.030" over in addition to the 0.010". I was likely a bit melodramatic with my prognosis as I think only one hole was larger than 0.010" over... and only by 0.003"
