So... I thought my kids weren't closing the door properly but my driver's side rear door, when closed, the dash still tells me it's opened and keeps the lights on. If I go out and open/shut it 5 or 6 times it'll finally catch but really problematic! I tried looked to see where the sensor/contact is to clean or adjust it but haven't found anything. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Thanks!
Scott

those sensors are built into the inside of the door handle, have been for a long time. nothing to clean
a advanced scanner would help you diagnose the problem to verify where the problem is.

Damn I do hate having to take my vehicles into a shop. Well we'll see how long it takes for me to lose my mind and go from there. Thanks!
