I'm having an issue with the lower hinge on my driver's side door. I don't know what the part is called but it's circled in red. The door spring presses against this part and it's supposed to rotate. Mine has become frozen and the door makes a scraping sound when opened and closed. I've tried penetrating fluid, various lubricants, even cleaned it up with brake cleaner and ran through all the lubes and penetrants again but it's still frozen. The passenger side is fine and I've always lubricated the hinges regularly.

Anyone know how to get this unstuck?

I think @89Suburban and @solli5pack may have had this issue.
I replaced that hinge a few years ago. I want to eventually get those hinge pins with the grease fittings on them.

You can try to pry that lever back to get the load off the roller and try to free it up. These hinge rollers are a pita imo.

PB Blaster works for me. When one gets really stuck, I'll do an application once a day for several days. Just hose down the pin, making sure you hit top and sides.

Have owned the two trucks in my sig each for over 10 years, all 8 rollers are original and still spin freely. But they do get stuck sometimes.
