Alright ive heard all these people saying that the depos are the greatest thing since sliced bread. But where do you buy them? I cannot find them. Are they the entire headlight or just the projector? I have the Sonar headlights. theyre smoke colored. I have 8k hids in there and anyother headlight or light at all washes them out. Not too happy with that. I have adjusted them and everything but they are not brigh at all! Anybody else having this probelm?

Thanks in advance!

Hey, Khristan, can you post a pic of your lights? Just curious to see which ones you got.

Most aftermarket projectors don't have a clear lense. This will make the light appear dimmer & depending on the optics light quality can be even worse.

I have heard Sonars have mediocre optic quality out of the box. I have never had a set in hand but a better lense & looking at the cutoff sheild for possible improvements would be needed to determine if anything descent can be gotten out of them with a little tuning. The Depo's are a great out of the box setup. Good optics, good cutoff, good projector.

Amazon has the Depos...

DEPO's have alright optics...not to be nit-picky, but one of mine came with the lens off-center significantly, and they are made of some sort of acrylic/plastic. For an aftermarket projector, they are much better quality than most, though.

Still can't beat a high-quality, focused, glass lens, though.

Same problem here. My hid fogs are brighter! The light is not focused at all and alot of glare. So pissed....

I got some sonar headlights/bumper lights. They arent projectors but they look great. IMO

Oh, also visible are my newly installed Recon Cab lights as well. (cell phone pics)

headlights look crooked, they were. I leveled them out already. They now fit perfectly in the sockets of the grille shell and project the light WAY better than the worn out stock housings.

Did yours come with a lowbeam in them? Mine did and I retro fit my hids in them and it looks like shit and very low light output.

Yes, mine came with the H1 lows and I replaced them with 7000k xenons which are just blue halogens. Thinking about doing HIDs soon. Maybe post a pic of your output. I would like to compare.

Ok will do when it gets dark here. Mine came with the h1 bulb and I had to retro fit my hids in them. Didn't hook up them before I took ok the bulb, so have nothing to compare it to as in before and after. And yes they are sonars!
