Cracked Oil Pan - What are the implications?

If you are not dripping on the floor ignore this, pans don't "fall apart" all at once and most cars have a light oil film around the pan that is visible at oil change time.

If it really is cracked it is not all the way through or there would be an oil mess, I would bet they are seeing hairline cracks in the aluminum which are common and require no attention.

Drive it until you see evidence on the ground of a leak, or at the very least a mess on the pan that shows evidence of blowing back on the torsion bar crossmember.

Drive it, you are risking absolutely nothing by ignoring this.
