@OBSalsoNNBS I can’t tell the difference between oils, the oil filter seems to make the biggest impact. I’ve used all kinds of cheap oil as long as it’s full synthetic Dexos rated 5w-30. Costco just seems to have the best price

Also I much prefer the 6 1quart bottles VS having two 5 gallon jugs and having 4 quarts left over after an oil change because the motor takes 6

That's good but I gotta ask, what filters do you run? I'm running stock pf48s.

That drives me nuts too! Mine only takes 6 bc it eats two before next interval...haha JK. Oh man now I gotta check.

Thanks, I'll look into that. I thought the GM ones seemed kinda dinky. I actually was going to shorten m intervals because of it.
@OBSalsoNNBS I feel it. My Costco oil was delayed in the mail so I went to a local place for an oil change and they but this tiny little filter on it looks almost half the size of a beer can.

FWIW, been running PF63s on mine - they are slight longer than the 48s. I started doing that after reading in a post from either in here or from the Silverado/Sierra forum where owners switch to them for a skosh more capacity. Always thought they were undersized for the size of the engine but I am no engineer so could be talking outta me ARSE.
