have you guys see the work that this guy did. he switched every single smd led to red. very very cool...anyone in here done that? amazinggg work

I've done a couple of LED conversions and that is a looooooooot of work.... :waytogo:

Props to that dude... not a fan of red though lol

Lee if you look at that link he kind of shoes you how to do it,, looks like very very labor intensive

WOW this red led looks awesome. But yea the DIC/gear indicator color not matching would drive my OCD bonkers...

WOW this red led looks awesome. But yea the DIC/gear indicator color not matching would drive my OCD bonkers...

He changed the dic gear indicator to cool white from green, he could make it red also, the stud that he did is just awesome

That's awesome and definitely labor intensive. I did a Tacoma cluster not too long ago to white. Using a regular soldering iron it took a couple of hours just for a few LEDs. What kind of soldering iron did he use? Anyway if I could find one like that I would do mine :)

i did this on a 05 denali,hehe

yes it is very labor intensive.it tool me 14 hours to do from parts removal to led swap.it was fun but very time consuming.

worse part was that the previous owner had broken tabs from the driver side and front pass door switches so

he had super glued them tight,i was so mad when i found this out.
