hit up your local truck stop for antennas
good and cheap for a cb isn't possible... plan to spend around $150 for a good one worked. If you hit the truckstop for the antennas ask if they have a cb shop and talk to them guys they'll tell you the ins/outs and can set you up with the best you can get for the budget you have. They might even have some used ones
galaxy cb's are pimp and you can find them online for a decent price. I've got a galaxy dx73v and a 4' stainless whip and could talk clear for around 13 miles, sometimes 20 but it was kinda faint
