bought a new 2022 Yukon SLT and the interior lights are weird. is it me? or broken?

Mine functions fine in my 23 Z71 suburban. However, I would like to know how to turn on all interior lights in the truck. It's dark and I have kids in the back struggling to see where to buckle up. I end up just opening the door to turn on all the lights

Press and hold one of the reading lights in the overhead console and they will all turn on. Repeat the process and they will all turn off.
