So I let my brother borrow the Tahoe for a few weeks, he smashed it into one of his buddy's rigs and this happened. :disgust:

The bumper mashed in the the metal and some of the paint is flaking off. How much is this to fix at a shop, and how would I go about fixing it myself?

yea, theres the quarter panel blocking it. youll need to pull the dent with a studgun/spotwelder which ever you prefer to call it

throw the keys back to him and send his ass to the shop to pay the bill :)

x3 on the spot weld dent puller, body filler, and then have someone shoot the paint (don't use cheap shit or you'll only create a big rust problem in the future.

if you want to do it yourself harbor freight carries the spot welder and body tools.

If you wanna do a quick fix then jus take the paint off there and put bond on it wait for I to dry and sand it then paint over it after it cures and boom not noticeable. Sometimes the bond can crack but you just sand it and ally more if needed and paint again. Shouldn't cost more than a $100 tops. Taking the dent out with the hammer and the tool is hardtho. I tried to take a dent out of he fender rich where it's in the front it crushed in and omg it sucked. I tookthe fender off and it still was a pain. It never got back perfect but atleast it mOved back a bit
