Anyone that’s running Belltech struts has had any issues with the bushings wearing out prematurely? I just made 2 years in December with them, normal daily driving living in south Florida and my bushings looks like they’re 20 years old! I’m also getting your typical clunking noise.

Yeah.... That should not happen.

Other folks on this Forum have used Belltech shocks, and hopefully they will chime in with their experiences.

After doing some reading it seems I might go with a quality strut/shock such as Bilstein or OEM to have a nice smooth OEM ride and switch to a drop spindle to keep the lowered height and keep the Belltech rear hangers.

We've been quite pleased with the Bilsteins we put on our '02 2500HD Sierra. It was the first mod on the truck, installing them when the thing still had the paper tags from the dealer on it. The OEM shocks were that bad. Might go with a set for our '25 Sierra.

We've also been happy with the Belltech drop spindles and shock hangers on both our Tahoe PPVs. They are both quality units. Since you're in Flodida, simply paint the spindles with a good enamel and you'll be good to go.

Note that you'll need a specific ball joint separater, Ken-tool J-43631. Your life will be miserable w/o it. Ask me how I know!!
