I have received a few MSRP quotes on diesel 2023 Suburban and Tahoes, but curious if anyone has locked in an order below MSRP on these? About to place and order and want to check and see what folks have been getting. Thanks

I have family members that work for GM. Employee discount is like 9.1% off msrp. It really depends where u live and also if u want a diesel you’ll have to probably order and call around until u find dealer that will honor friends discount, but you may be waiting in line a while just to place order. Or search the Chevy inventory every morning for a diesel and call on every one, u may get lucky, my cousin just did recently on a diesel Tahoe

I am using the gm supplier discount through my work, you just have to find the right dealer. I’m in south Florida and we used it on my wife’s Tahoe. I have a Yukon on order here as well with the first dealer I went to honoring it. I also have a escalade on order using it but that was a lot harder to find a dealer. Had to put it in in Indianapolis for that one. Also some won’t allow it on a vehicle on the lot but will allow it on an order so be sure to ask.

Yes, I bought a 22’ Denali last year in SE MI with GM Friends and Family discount. PM me if you’re looking there.

Any GM employees need a friend? Happy to take you on fishing trips up and down the Oregon coast as a “thanks for letting me be your friend (and use your discount)” gesture.

any dealers on the west coast or just western half of US that accept orders for supplier pricing? i’ve called around WA and ID without luck… ideally looking for a larger dealer as they should have more allocation, in theory

Ordered our 3.0L Denali Yukon a few weeks ago using GM supplier discount. I would absolutely hunt around as there is no need to pay MSRP in this current environment short of wanting an Escalade or Denali Ultimate.

Smaller dealers are the way to go

Found a dealer in St. Louis area willing to honor GM supplier pricing. They place orders on Thursdays and usually get 1 Denali/Reserve a month. The sales manager I spoke with said I would be 3rd in line.

lower on the totem pole for allocation though, no?

lower on the totem pole but also less likely to have a backlog of MSRP orders waiting.

honestly probably just whatever you stumble on - some buyers on here probably will contact 20 dealers and they all be at MSRP while some guy's local dealer he's been buying vehicles for years from is willing to do a supplier order. or maybe you contact "that one" dealer within several hundred miles that just so happens to not have a list and needs to move an order.

I do not believe that using GMS/supplier codes will effect your position with allocation when placing an order at a dealer ...

Pretty much all dealers in MI will honor either codes, as there is such a heavy base of workers along with hq being in detroit. Being that close to top level corporate folk, dealers don't want to make HQ unhappy.

Put a deposit on a Denali at a dealer here in central NC at supplier pricing. Was #4 in line and similar to what was shared above, they are getting 1 Denali allocation per month, which put me around July for my turn...which could be on the edge of moving to a 2024 model year.

You live in Michigan where there seem to be a lot of dealers who will do employee or supplier discounts. Proximity to corporate headquarters? They are still asking $5K over list here in Wisconsin......

In my experience, you're lucky if you can get sticker price as opposed to something above sticker price. I recently paid $5,000 over sticker to get a Toyota Avalon. Full sticker price to buy a Tahoe.

Hey Guys, question about MSRP ect

Dealer ordered my truck (in CDN$) when price was $91K MSRP, order was accepted at that price.

Truck arrived on lot this morning.. now claims MSRP is $93.5K and need to pay up the $2.5K

That a normal practice?

Nope, if your dealer is a dick they raise price, if they’re ethical they are suppose to honor the order date pricing per GM. There should be a whole thread on here about that
