So far I have tried beating on the sides of the knuckle
Jacking on upper control arm and smacking up on it with a mini sledge (now a paper weight)
A pickle fork and chisel
Its drenched in penetrating oil
I have not tried heat yet because I have the door to the garage open to let heat in from the house
it took over 3 hours to get the right side to break free
Seeing it warmed up to a balmy 8 degrees I was going to try the torch
If anyone has a better idea please let me know before I smoke out my garage
Thanks

Separating the ball joint stud from knuckle? I find using 2 pickle forks work well with a BFH. Air-Chisel with pickle forks are great if you have air tools. Did you pound upward under the UCA? You may need some heat. Good luck.

wooo hoo :):)
Left side only took a little over an hour and didn't have to use heat
I went to get new bolts for the upper control arm and picked up a free rental pickle fork
had it off within 10 min of getting home think it just needed a little more and the second pickle fork did it
