LOL, my mpg went way up with my new 6.2. Except my tank was on empty showing something like 16 gallons used and requiring 24 gallons to fill...

Tweaked 02s to be less reactive on the fuel trims
Rock solid idle, perfect drivability and now better MPG than the 5.3 by a lot. This is my normal drive to the stores, mix of some 45 mph highway and stop lights. 5.3 normally got 13 mpg.

You have a hitch or no? If yes, did he hit your hitch ?Got rear ended yesterday. The Honda that hit me completely destroyed. Yukon barely any damage lol. Love these tanks.
Can't wait to see that video.Figured I'd update...
About 2000 miles since the swap. No issues to report. No oil consumption, no leaks, no odd noises, decent fuel economy. It just sounds pretty bad in sub 40 degree temps, but whatcha gonna do. The magnetec oil definitely helped here. It used to misfire when it got cold, which it no longer does. I assume from the lifters bleeding down and taking a bit to re-engage with the pushrod properly until oil thinned out.
Sounds insane at WOT. If this snow ever goes away, I will take a video.
Mike.......your still running the 5.3 exhaust pipes ?
I bet it sounds like a BEAST!!No, all the original 5.3 stuff is off. I use the Kooks 1 7/8" headers to a 3.5" y-pipe to the Corsa Touring 3" exhaust.
