So I just picked up a 01 Tahoe as a daily family ride. Got some inexpensive 22 inch wheels with Toyo 285/45/22 proxy st's on them. 2 tires really need to be replaced. Found some Nitto 420s with 99 % tread for 250 mounted and balanced 305/40/22. Could I run the Toyos up front and nittos in the rear for a bit? Would like to get my front end redone and an alignment then pick up a new set of Nittos for the front.

Would that even make sense? Probably just a few months and I doubt I'd use 4wd in that time.

THanks!

The 285/45s are about 32" tall and the 305/40s are about 31.5" or so but are wider then the 285/45s
