With a 1" lift, would you do 305/45, 285/55, or 285/50 tires?

Hi,

I'm looking to do a 1" lift on my yukon Denali Ultimate. I'm looking at 305/45/22, 285/50/22, or 285/55/22 tires. I'm looking to avoid any rubbing or cutting. Any sure recommendations? Also, I'd to stick with the stock wheels.

I think the 285/55 may be too tall. The tire selection for 285/50 is quite limited. I may have to run with the 305/22s, just not sure if they are too wide.

Anyway, your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I run 305/50x20 on my 07 Denali, and I don't believe that you would have any rubbing with the 305/45x22 on a stock wheel.

I put 305/45/22 toyo open country at3’s on my wifes high country. They fit perfectly with no rubbing with no level, although i did level it an inch and a half later on.

Also, one thing to consider, most 305/45’s are xl-rated tires, not the e-rated truck tires like most of the 285/50 and 285/55’s. I would think the e-rated may ride a bit more harsh…maybe not though.

Do you have air ride? I have an LT with normal suspension and want to pull the trigger on 305/45r22s. I have the 22” factory black multispoke wheels. Just want to make sure they fit before pulling the trigger. I’m really only worried about rubbing with the ball joint and knuckle.

Hell yea looks nice man !
Thanks! Can you tell me what pressure you have yours set too? They set it to 37 at the shop. I read somewhere it should be like 32 based on Toyos inflation table.
