I know just because you can doesn't mean that you should so with having said that, I have a plug on a set of 22x14 Fuel wheels. They were on a 03 Silverado with a 6" inch lift. I like the stuffed look like in the pic below.

So this guy did what everybody said can't be done with just a level kit and shock extenders? (and some hacking I'm sure)
I've been saving for some 20x12 to put on my 01 Z71 Hoe but after seeing this :Good or Bad:

definitely a different look. i think that it will look much different with the normal tahoe front end and not the silverado front end. maybe a normal front end with an hd hood. I'm not sure. also, i don't know where you live but where i live, that is illegal. i wouldn't be able to get an inspection done. interesting idea though.

I was thinking the same thing..so I found a new 2001 - 02 Silverado HD hood someone is selling on craigslist. I dont wanna get burned so im trying to find out if it's OEM or not.

Where i'm at I dont think i'll have trouble with the law but to be on the safe side i'll start to look into that also. I just know some cars around here roll around on big goofy wheels and nothing seems to happen to them. atleast I think nothing happens to them :hmmm2:

i haven't seen but a couple here in louisiana. but if the tire sticks out further than your fender a lot of places won't pass your inspection. my buddy has a 96 jeep cherokee and his tires stick out an inch and a half and they failed his inspection. i guess it just depends on where you are and where you go.

That Tahoe doesn't have to worry about that. The tire tread is still within the fender, just the rim and sidewall isn't :roflbow:

for his sake i hope you're right. it just looks like the tread in that pic is wider than the fender, especially in the rear. I'm just jealous that y'all don't have to get inspection. haha, i hate that time of the year.
