2017 Tahoe Premier 4x4 where's the spare tire key on push button start?

Hello all

I am trying to get the spare tire down so I have more room to replace the rear diff cover with an upgrade. It has a push button start, but the spare tire hoist has a key lock. No key was given when the SUV was purchased. Should a key have been given when purchased? even though its got push button start? I did see a video on picking the spare tire lock, but I still wanted to know what's going on here to see if I can get the spare tire key for future use.
