Magnaflow muffler 12589 is all you need. Then do a resonator delete and get some SLP or Volant dual tips.

Anyone have a link for the resonator delete? What does it consist of? From muffler back or just a piece of pipe that goes in place after you cuto out the resonator?

Just a piece of pipe that replaces the resonator with stainless tips. I'll try and find the link for you. Just a minute.

Heres the link I bought mine from but it's for 07-10. Hunt around for a minute and I bet you'll find one for '12.

you can't really beat the 100$ for the magnaflow muffler 12589... it sounded great and paired up even better with some nice tips.

Sorry, just not a fan of magnaflow. I found on borlas web site that they sell the gmpp muffler for like 90 bucks. It says the inlet and outlet are 2.75"

---------- Post added at 09:44 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:23 AM ----------

so after doing a little more research, i found that the muffler in the gmpp kit is part number 19131346 http://www.borla.com/products/product_detail.aspx?prod_sku=19131346 .... but i also found part number 19131347 http://www.borla.com/products/product_detail.aspx?prod_sku=19131347 on borlas site and the only difference is that the one that comes in the gmpp kit(19131346) is 1" bigger around, yet the same length. i also noticed that the pipe was larger than the stock. like i said before i used a piece of string and measured the stock, and the gmpp exhaust is just a bit bigger. and the gmpp inlet is 2.75 so we have 2.5" pipe on factory? will the gmpp muffler work on my factory pipe if i cutout the muffler and have this welded/clamped in?

If your circumference is 8" then your diameter is 2.5"

The rest I'm not sure of.

Ok. I'm going with a borla turbo Xl muffler. Probably do that right after we have this baby!
