I think we have 3 inch pipes but I could be wrong

2.5" or 2.75" depending on who you ask

No. Nothing matches up with the hangers

Who told you this? I installed an OEM 07+ Denali XL exhaust on my short 04 Yukon Denali. Every single hanger matched up perfectly. So, it should match up on yours too. I believe the only thing different about the Suburban/Yukon XL exhaust is the pipe going into the muffler is longer. Everything else is the same.

The kits are different for a 07,08 compared to a 09+. The flex pipe is different an the tail pipe would have thrown the exhaust intone rear bumper. It just wouldn't fit. It's already been sent back an the muffler will be going on next week

Yeah, I get that. I had to have my pipe cut short to fit. Well, good luck with the new one!
