So I recently purchased a gmpp catback kit for my 2012 Tahoe. Well I got it in, took it to the dealership to have it installed, and it's for a suburban. So it doesn't fit. The company I got it from doesn't have any more for tahoes. I got this kit really cheap and would like to stay in the same price range. I paid 250 shipped for this kit new. What other options do I have for a mild sounding exhaust? Catback or just muffler? What is recommended? And if I do just muffler , what inlet size and outlet?

IMO just replace the existing muffler and put on a resonator delete kit and call it a day. I got my Magnaflow 12589 off amazon for 100 and SLP resonate delete kit for 115 shipped.

2 1/2" assuming you've got a 5.3. Might wanna double check me though. It was 2 1/2" on my 07

Well I kinda used a piece of string and measured the pipe to see the diameter and the pipe by the cats is 8" around so 4" inlet?

4" is definitely not right. Way too big. It's either going to be 3" or 2 1/2". I know that the 6.2 equipped rides are 3" so it's possible that the later model NNBS 5.3's moved up to 3" as well.
