Did you install this yet? I don't know if you will notice much since yours is gray, but I'm curious if this reduces the black marks on the rear panel above the SLP tip from exhaust.

Not yet. It's coming like Friday.

Will advise.

Did you install your interior door handles yet? I bought some about 6 months ago but haven't got around to doing them. Was wondering how bad it was.

Not bad at all.

Basically what Jacob said.

Ive had the door panel off twice, once for the door lock shit and another to replace the mirror. Anything special needed? Glue or anything? I was guessing a metal pin slid out, old one off, new one on and replace pin? Or maybe a bolt.

There are three screws so you'll need a smaller phillips screwdriver.

Thats what I needed to know. I saw a post on the avalanche forum and a guy said something about glue. Didn't want to get the panel off and realize I need something else. I have all the tools covered, just wanted to make sure I didn't need anything but the new handles to do the job. Thanks fellas

Catch can is in.

Had to cut the plastic pipe though.

Apparently 2009+ are different?

Why the catch can? Just curious.

I have had mine for like two days...... this thing works......

I opened it up from the top again to sort the hoses out the other day.

There was already a very small puddle in there.

I was thinking that maybe it was as a because of oil consumption. I know what they are for, but I never turn this heavy ol slug very high RPM. I have one on my camaro, it gets turned over 7200.

My avalanche started using oil, and at first, I thought it needed a catch can. I have hp tuners so I turned the Dod off. That did nothing. I replaced the valve cover and all the oil consumption has gone away. The non-serviceable PCV was clogged.

Yes I do. They did the upper engine cleaner and put the shields in under warranty but never did anything with the valve cover. I bought the revised design. I left the DOD off, its hurt it MPG about 1-2 mpg. Wasn't a big deal to me.
