I got some new microfiber towels from Costco!

I would only use those for wheels, wheel wells and running boards they're good towels but the chance of harming the paint jumps compared to using towels from griots, CG etc.

I wonder how much putting a surface in the truck would be to get the surface mounted here.

Yeah that's what I have my nice MF For. Although the premium MF Costco ones seem pretty good. I used to know the technical jargon for good MF with deniers and split thread etc, but have forgotten it all. Obviously the Costco towel is not a "plush" style MF, but do you have any sources/links on the Costco stuff being inferior to others?

It's not that they're inferior to others or anything they're a good towel but it's a matter of personal choice and I would advise against using them on paint. In the link posted you can see that some use them exclusively and some don't. It's just you have a black Tahoe and it would suck to mar the paint.

Thanks. I was planning on using mine as an all purpose towel. However the batch I got seem really good quality and although I don't plan on using them on the paint I actually wouldn't be worried if I needed to.
