It’s ok y’all I have a Tahoe update that might just stiffen your trouser snakes, it certainly hardened my nips. The AC worked today! Haven’t driven it in almost a week and like fords usually do mine broke last night so I drove the Tahoe today. Which was very nice I forgot what luxury was like.

Anyone remember how I was supposed to shim the starter a month ago because it made bad noises? Well I never did and the noise went from bad to much more bad and it didn’t start. Turns out the starter was very loose and it was the wrong one. Back when I bought it I bought one for an Auto trans which I would never own! Apparently there is like a 1/4” difference and well it really ground my gears.
Sad about the starter, happy about them nips....I mean, ac working.

Final block on filler and feather fill sprayed on. It's hard to tell much with so many different colors. This should block out great

Sorry if I’m behind on this but what happened to the car? Rear ended?
Spinning from a roll, got away from me, spun around a couple times, into a parking lot and I clipped a light pole. It was spinning hard, bumped the limiter in 2nd and shifted to drive. Wheel speed was probably around 120ish and we were rolling maybe 50. When it went, it was gone. I'm not sure what happened that time but thats the only time I couldn't get it gathered back up and I had done some really long roll burnouts in it before this. It had a bunch of nitrous on it before I blew it up and did the motor thats in it now. Nitrous spinning is fun.It tore the bumper cover mostly off, got into the spoiler, hatch, and filler panel.

This happened in 2013. The cars been chilling with a black bumper and used pewter spoiler since then. I didn't drive the car for about 5-6 years after that. 2018-2019 I got back interested and ordered to 11s for the back and all the emblems and things (NOS stuff) and then time got away from me. Fast forward to my last bout of pancreatitis, last September. Not drinking and being bored in general, I started messing with it again. Thats when I ordered the radials that @randeez recommended and why I was so adamant it not spin anymore. When it got away from me, I was on a 5 lane road and and we covered all 5 lanes. Cars were coming and I thought I wasn't going to get it gathered back up and back on my side of the road. It would've hit on Stephs side so that really bothered me. Thats why I just let the car sit. I suppose I was punishing myself for what had happened. She doesn't like to spin anymore so we got sticky tires to help with that:)

Casey has been supposed to paint the car since it happened but we could never find them time (or interest from me really). After we finished his Yukon, I told him my car is next. I'm over it and I want to drive it some. Now we're here.

You need an AWD, massive motor, big turboYukon like randy, he never has problems like that. Seriously glad you didn’t die or hurt someone!

Did more ranger stuff since the Tahoe ac still works.

Changed tranny fluid which had probably less than half a qt in it, supposed to have almost 4. Then I started hacking stuff up again. I’ve always liked the look of a high clearance cut bed with wrap around bumper, so I cut stuff and welded stuff. Not even close to done but I’m digging it so far.

Why no angle like a pre runner?
Cause wrap around maximum clearance bumper like rock crawler. If I went the pre runner look I wouldn’t have wrapped the bumper around cause prerunner means lightweight. Since I plan to abuse this thing more like a buggy/trail truck, it gets moar protection.

I edited my original message about the car. That happened in 2013. Idk why I typed 2010. My bad

Got the hatch and other panels blocked out last night. That feather fill is awesome. Hatch is ready for a little touch up sanding and then final prime with 2k. Water block then paint. The other panels will need another coat of feather fill when I do the hood. I broke through in some places. Feather fill is not only an excellent high build primer, it also adheres to and seals in the SMC. You need to apply that, then top coat with regular primer. Again, really happy with how it's coming along.

Haven’t touched the Tahoe in awhile just because the AC finally died again ( man it’s a hella slow leak). Plus I had back to back weekends at work with some pretty demanding events including an air show that I had to manage.

Anyway today I slapped the GMT900 line in the ac and got it blowing, I replaced the motor on my exhaust cutout, and cleaned/replaced my HID relay harness so my driver headlight will act right.
