For the glass I would try Nu- Glass by hand or buffer at slow speed or Hot Sauce water spot remover. Nu-Glass is like the glass cook top cleaner that you rub on, let dry to a powder and then wipe off. It takes a bit of elbow grease if you do it by hand but it works great.

I completely agree if you spend the time and money to get everything professionally blacked out with color match black not just plasti dip they look great. It's just not for me and I don't want to put that much money into paint.

Good idea! I have some glass stove top cleaner I'll try later.

Just looking at the chrome parts of the racks and I think if I decide to black them out I will have them powdered. I can probably get that done for $50 for the set. Then I don't have to worry about chipping or fading from paint over the chrome.

Good idea. I had mine painted by my bud who owns a body shop and they haven’t chipped in 2 years. I think the roof rack would look good on yours in black.

You must once again be hailed as ruler of the hoes because the stove top cleaner worked perfect! I used some crap i had under my sink called CermaBryte, then white vinegar, rainX and finally invisible glass.

I agree I laid the rack up there just for fun and the chrome is a little to much. Still gonna do the end caps first and go from there.

Thanks its just a little 24x26 metal shop. Works great just heats up like the ovens of Auschwitz in the summer. That is actually just the reflection in the window showing how pristine it is now.

Well hopefully the yoke hitting the evap bracket is finally solved. Just had to put my big boy pants on and do some real chopping. Cut the corner off the mount the bracket attaches to. Don't see any reason this would effect anything else negatively and hopefully my problem is solved.

    I'll keep an eye out!

Is there a particular model or year range they come on? Esky only? Denali only? One, two or three model years only?

    I was shocked myself!

From what I've seen 05-06 and totally unknown RPO code or what package or why. But I will say the hinges appear attached much better. Maybe it was a late fix to that or a test for the next gen. 20200802_130505.jpg 20200802_130622.jpg
