Walmart often has them in stock...

...In the parking lot after dark. Just gotta be quick before the cop finishes his potty break.

Heck my neighbor has a PPV tahoe across from me. Only bad thing is his dog is also a Sheriff and those Maligators are mean!

This guy was selling them for somewhere under $150! I'm telling you Dan, get some regular steel 17's off a Silverado/Express van, paint them black and buy the ppv caps.

Id be fine with that if I could find a set of those even lol! Not having FB marketplace is like being in quarantine. Are you positive all the steel wheels are the same? I've never done a side by side comparison.

GM#9597673 $162.87 EACH CAP

Yeah that's gonna be a strong no from me dawg. The wheels are half that lol.

Damn that's cheap! With caps too? 99% sure they're the same as the ppv's. Those 16 or 17's?

Says 17"s I called no answer sent text still waiting. I don't mind piecing a set together and buying new PPV caps. Gonna powder coat the wheels anyway. I was hoping the Maypops I got were gonna be 17" steelies but they are some ratchet looking 16s off something from the 90s I think.

Ok, because they do come in both sizes. That's an awesome deal. I've been looking for months on cl with no luck.

I have seen them and they look fine on the new PPVs but look cheaper to me for some reason compared to the 17's we are looking for. Kinda remind me of old import steelies like on a 90s Honda or something lol.
I can see that. Looks like guitar pics were cut out.
I've been seeing alot of the Silverado rims, but the chromed ones. I heard the chrome face doesn't come off tho. Was thinking of dipping them, but eh.

1/4”? You trying to break it? Will a 1/4 really get any lug nuts off?? No way!

My 1/4 impact will actually do it but it tends to smell bad after lol.

So got to the guys house and he had a stack of 5! 4 with near new tires! Got everything for $185.

Inspected the maypops and tractored the 14b into my shop. 1 may pop is a 17" just like the other 5 so now I have all 6 like I wanted lol. Taking 4 to powder coat Friday when the Spohn links come in. Tonight the 14b is getting painted.

Lucky ass!! Why can't I find some deals like that lol. People around here think they're made out of gold or something. I forget--are you lowered at all? What size tires are on the 17's?

EDIT: You'll probably have to drill and tap holes if you want the ppv caps--not a biggie tho.

Did not know I had to drill and tap but that's easy. I've been looking for weeks and just happen to stumble on this I usually never get lucky.

Chassis saver makes junk look so good. All I did to prep it was 1 can of brake clean then let it air dry. This stuff makes a rubber like layer that would stick to a slip-n-slide. Took 1/2 pint to do 2 layers. Which is plenty. Now to let it dry.

Yes its lowered 2/3 and they are tiny 225/65/17. Don't plan on DDing these tires much but they will smoke nicely.
