I decided to check upon my dot 3. It smells like bog. I don't know how to bleed brakes. So I used a syphon, and added new Prestone dot 3 max. Filled reservoir till max. And then started vehicle and pumped brakes few times. This is cool in reservoir after I changed it. Probably I will do a procedure few times and then go to repair shop for new pads and properly bleed them. And flush brake fluid again. I just want to do what our shop will not do. They never washed brake lines, they never wash engine. So I will buy some 5w30 pensoiol and wix filter. And do procedure again. Just waiting for abs module to show up. I decided not to take it apart , and go and order the cheapest one from Rock Auto.
Definitely time to do brake fluid! Brake pads are super easy on this truck but if they haven’t been done in a while the salt might make the job a bit difficult.

No harm, just advantages, in using DOT 4 instead of DOT 3. It has better qualities, so consider having them use DOT 4 when flushing the brakes.

What about mixing dot 3 and dot 4? Will it go bad? I saw in AutoZone some universal dot 3 and dot 4 in one bottle. What is the difference between?

It can mix with no problem. What they sell in the DOT 3/4 bottles is DOT 4, backward compatible with DOT 3. It's best to do a full flush to get the full benefit of DOT 4 (primarily the boiling point) but either way works.

If interested, a little reading here for comparison specs: https://www.autozone.com/diy/brakes/dot-3-vs-dot-4-brake-fluid

Go for it! Here’s a video for it! I’m all about a DIY repair. Especially if it gets the light to turn off for a short while you at least know the root cause.
Can't get to a module. My truck is missing jack. So I decided to go with hydraulic for 6000 lbs. Eventually I barely managed to fit it. And in a wrong place. When jacking up, I bend a frame. I'm not the best mechanic, and I think I may do more harm then good.

Uh-oh… Am I understanding that you bend the frame while lifting it with a hydraulic jack?

This should not need a jack as I used a packing lot and drove the front two wheels on a curb then slid underneath. The module is on the frame rail, not sure if you even need to lift the truck.

It's not that much. But still I'm afraid that I might have damaged something that is inside of it, maybe some lines etc. this is my Jack.

Looks like my manipulations didn't brought any success. It made it worse. Brake light came back. GMC burned brake light switch again. I'm starting to hate this vehicle. Everything should be simple on these rings. One 2 three and done. I should not be dying under it.

Ok.
1) DONT GIVE UP!!!! This is just a setback. You have a freaking awesome truck!!!!!
2) The lights are probably because of the brake module but the rear light might be because of a short? I have not had that problem before but I hope, and believe, someone on here will be able to help diagnose it.

I ordered another harness. It may be that my GMC is using same harness as for the left and right side. I tried to switch them they fit. The tiny thumb on right harness is same as for the left one. I found cheap one new from 2000 GMC Sierra 2500 for 35 bucks. We'll see. So far left turn signal doesn't work. I swapped old taillight back. I tried to fit the new wing from Escalade. Did some custom brackets. Need to wire it.

The biggest issue is that I'm doing everything on a street. I have no garage or driveway. Those holes for spoiler I will fill in with window seal . I can't weld plastic, got no tools for that.

I feel you on the street work. Did all my work in a parking lot or at the local AutoZone.

Alright fellas. I did wherever I could. Now I need you assistance. I need to wire the lights. I have no problem with reverse light. That one I did. I can't do anything to brake light, running light, turn signals. Actually I can. But they keep working, especially running light even when engine is off and ignition is off too. I need somehow bring 12 volts to th back that will automatically shut down when vehicle is on alarm. I bought these taillight, they have same harness as mine. So no problem. Just one thing, power. On order to activate power in spoiler I need 12 v constant.

Ok. So that's what I ayeballed. I wired it to the numberplate light. And I replaced factory ones into these. So far not bad. This is simply running light. It's COB . Also I wired reverse light in pillars, unfortunately I didn't manage to obtain same light for them. I had in a household proven with time old LED, I used them at work. So I had to go with that. And also my wife gave an ultimatum, so either spoiler and those pillars are out or she will get rid of a truck. I live in apartment it's small 1 bedroom with 2 kids, you know. I had to take it. And by the way I haven't installed spoiler permanently, it's holding on one screw and 2 makeshift brackets.

I finally fixed exhaust leak, now it's not farting, it's decent sound, before I thought about changing the resonator, but now I think I will keep it stock. It's loud enough

Alright, good news and bad news. Good news that I finally finished wiring d pillar lights and 2007 Escalade spoiler light . Bas thing is that I couldn't extract 2 screws from ABS control module. They are seized and torx head was rusted out. So unfortunately I will have to replace the whole thing. But I don't know if it makes any sense. We don't have junk yards here in Brooklyn. And I don't know where to go and what to do. More over, someone was at ABS module. I used mirror to check it out, it's dorman, not original. Plus someone used zip ties to hold connectors in place. So I don't think it mame any sense to play with soldering. Unfortunately the job with a part will be expensive, close to $900 . Now I face another thing, should I fix it, though nobody reimbursed me a thing, or should I sell the truck?

I think you should keep at it. With your current cost in the truck it is still FAR cheaper than any other work truck.
I had similar issues as you did with mine as I had to undo so many janky fixes. If I am following your thread correctly, you are on the final stretch as you fixed the brake lights and just have the ABS lights now?
If so you are basically there. These are easy to maintain once they are fully operational and given your price point, I would not be concerned until your bills start totaling $4-5k. Your truck in full running condition is a $6-8k truck (imo).
