On the GMT800 1500 pickup trucks, the 2wd use coil springs vs torsion bar for the 4x4, so the control arms and shocks are different.

I forget if all GMT800 1500 SUVs were torsion bars? 03-07 for sure. Or did they use coil springs on the earlier 2wd ones? I honestly don't know, but maybe that's why?
I also am not confident if there is a difference when stepping up to the 2500 Sub platform. I’m dangerous but not THAT dangerous lol.

2500 & 3500 used rear leaf springs instead of coils.
I know they share much in common with 2500 & 3500 pickups, but I don't know enough about their differences.

Hey, totally forgot but Shock Surplus has a great filter system. Here is the part number and can be searched for better prices online:

Looks like you can get them and I’m running them now. I have liked them, especially at their price point.

Probably I will go with Amazon. At least it's easier to return, unless I skip return window again.

Question. Why front of a truck is all the time lower than back. Even with passengers on a back. Can I drop back or raise front? I decided to get another GMC Yukon XL personally for me. But I will go with 6.0 . Probably now is not a great time because of these tariffs, but only now I can plan my trip to TX or FL. I want a rust Free truck under 120 k. Because I think I'm modding a wrong vehicle. Current GMC Yukon XL 8.1 is technically under LLC. Though not mine. I fell in love with this thing so much, I find it better than my 2010 Escalade Hybrid.

You can. Just need a leveling kit. Most GM trucks come like that because as you load up a trailer it should level out.

6.0 is a good engine.

Can someone assist with leveling kit. I'm total incompetent in this. Options are from 40 to 500 dollars.

I got update regarding brakes. Today at a speed of 25 mph. All of a sudden ABS light stopped glowing. I thought oh, good, it fixed itself. Then I heard from pedal area noise of sizzling, literally it had a same sound when you fry a patty. When I removed leg from a brake, sound stopped. Then when I tried to apply brake again. Pedal started kicking, sometimes it was soft sometimes hard and everything happened in a second. Then sizzling sound again, then stopped. Then Abs light came back. I took highway, 40-50 MPH, as usual no hiccups. Abs light is still on. What the hell was that?

The soft then hard pedal feel sounds like air in the lines? Have you bled the brakes and replaced fluid yet?
I still think the ABS light is due to a failed module

I got this switch today. Will try it on. And a will order new pads and will change brake fluid. I haven't changed brake fluid and never blended the brakes since I got it. And I haven't opened brake fluid reservoir even since

What part is this?

I had issues with the ABS module that is located on the frame rail of the truck. I think this is the part:

I replaced brake light switch and red park light is gone. Abs light is still there. Probably I will go with cheapest option from Rock Auto. At least it's New. And core is just 50$

This SHOULD fix your abs. There are 2-4 weak solder points on the board that break and cause the issue. The one plug is a pain to get to but it’s easy enough.

So basically what you are saying is , not to rush with replacement, but solder it by myself?

Go for it! Here’s a video for it! I’m all about a DIY repair. Especially if it gets the light to turn off for a short while you at least know the root cause.

I decided to check upon my dot 3. It smells like bog. I don't know how to bleed brakes. So I used a syphon, and added new Prestone dot 3 max. Filled reservoir till max. And then started vehicle and pumped brakes few times. This is cool in reservoir after I changed it. Probably I will do a procedure few times and then go to repair shop for new pads and properly bleed them. And flush brake fluid again. I just want to do what our shop will not do. They never washed brake lines, they never wash engine. So I will buy some 5w30 pensoiol and wix filter. And do procedure again. Just waiting for abs module to show up. I decided not to take it apart , and go and order the cheapest one from Rock Auto.
