2000 Tahoe - Question about rear door locking

For some reason the rear door won't lock. I can't even push in the lock mechanism to pop the window. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be and, if so, how do I fix it (preferably myself)?

Is it just lock or unlock as well. Might be and electrical issue/bad relay or bad actuator..

Mine is having the same issue, and it has in the past i took the rear door panel off and there is a little plastic turn deal that came off of the rod, and i put it back on and it fixed it for me

Sounds like a loose wire...

It won't lock even if I hit the remote or hit the power locks from inside. If I stick the key in it won't do anything either and the lock "button" won't push in. I don't know if that answers your question Christoso. I haven't popped the panel off yet, so I might do that and see if it's the same issue id Yukon had. I'd like to be able to fix it myself it at all possible.
