I remember asking someone a while back, the Silverado spindles will fit right in with the same years right, just in case someone comes in here with the same question. 2000-2006 Silverado 3 inch lift spindles for the 2wd.

The 2WD Tahoe and Yukon share the same torsion based suspension as the 4x4. It would not share the same spindle as the 99-06 1500 2WD trucks.

Rough Country guys,

Do you have any aftermarket solutions for worn out torsion bars that need replaced? I'm a new member here, and basically joined solely to try and figure out what I'm going to do with my Tahoe's front suspension.

Both of the torsion bars need replaced, the Hex part of the bar that slides into the lower arm in the front has turned itself inside the lower arm. The edges of the hex are rounded, and both keys are tightened as far as they can go.

I need new ones, and I have been having the worst time trying to find a aftermarket company that makes a higher spring rate torsion bar replacement.

It's a 2004 Tahoe LS 4 door. Thanks in advance for any help.

i know im not the rough country guy but call up sway away torsion bars they mainly make torsion bars for bugs but i run an old set on my obs pickup and they kick ass but there is that and a couple people on here have done a coilover conversion if you feel like being creative

and out of curiosity have you guys tried running a 99-06 2wd silvy spindle cuz almost every other manufacturer says that i can run their silverado spindle and that they do and its fine

The set up on this thing is so slick, I love it.
Could just be the angle of the pic, but the door molding on the back door looks a different shade than the front.

Just the angle they color match is spot on all painted together. Last year that being the whole Tahoe.

I must say first, I wish I knew about the 10% discount before.
Second I installed the 2inch leveling kit. And must say was not satisfied in the end. I only gained 1.5 inch in the front and the rear stayed the same. It shouldn't be called a leveling Lift kit if it isnt lifting all 4 corners only the front all it did was level the truck. Now im having to get either lift springs or coil spacers to actuality get the 2 inch lift I wanted. And last the kit not coming with boots was really stupid we all spend over $250 on these kits and you couldn't throw in $12 worth of boots really.

Are you really complaining that all the leveling kit did was level your truck? What else is a leveling kit supposed to do? It is called a 2" leveling kit because it raising the front of the truck 2" to level it out. If you would have researched the kit at all you would have known this. If you wanted to raise the truck 2" and level it you need a "lift kit" not a "leveling kit"
