2/3 drop needs improvement in ride

Looking to have a better ride since my drop (spring replacements). Would replacing the shocks do it? 60k miles and original shocks. Little to bouncy.

What kit did you use?
You cut bumpstops in rear?
Shock extenders in rear?
Rear still raked up more?

Lol, sorry guys. Max Trac 2/3 spring kit. Sits level. Shock extenders in rear. No bump stops cut. I don't bottom out, but it just seems that the spring rate is causing a little too much float when recovering from dips in the road at high speed.

Yeah those have a lot to be desired. How much space between bumpstop and axle in rear

I'm going to to try to dial what he has in it now. In rear I just need to know how much space between axle and bunpstops

I'll measure tomorrow when I am home. Should I have gone with different springs? I was going with mcgaughys drop cups and rear springs, but they were back ordered. Guys said the MaxTracs were about the same.

Y'all might shoot me...

I have about 3/8" to the rear bumper stop (didn't trim). Perhaps that is the core of my issue? I didn't trim the fronts either, but that may not be the issue here.

You must be hitting the bumpstops in the rear with them being that close. Looks like you'll need to do the free travel mod. Also I see your swaybar isn't parallel to the ground so you'll need rear endlinks. Tony @ Norcal can help you out with those.

Thanks for the input. Look forward to Tony telling me what I need to do/buy. I've searched a bit, but the free travel mod sounds like cutting the plate off the axle that the bump stop hits. Is that correct? Just take a grinding wheel to it? What will prevent bottoming out? Will removing/cutting the bump stop resolve this?

Interested in new end links for the rear sway bar too!

You cut off the bracket that holds the bump stop and then add a small pancake bumpstop directly to the frame. At least that's the way it's done on the NBS/ NNBS. I used a Sawzall on mine.

Hopefully once I do my drop it won't sway. That's the issue I'm having myself.

Tony, when you see my update here, can you let me know how much for the end links, if I should change the stabilizer bar brackets/bushings, and if I cut the bracket that holds the bumpstop, do you have a different bumpstop like Red mentioned?

Tony, I hope I ordered the right things:

Just take a long sharp knife and lay underneath and cut the bottom half of those bump stops off for the time being until you cut the entire brackets off the frame
