My 09 LTZ RPO codes are nearly identical to yours, and I'll attach a picture. We have the same shocks, and those are costly, haha. Maybe someone can compare our different codes.

I hate rust, I would get this up on lift and really check it out. check out above the coils and under the doors. Another bad spot is above the gas tank.
You can also do a can tune but it will not give you the option of turning off the AFM. Only a delete in my opinion is the best option. Put a set of LS7 lifters and LS7 cam to retain stock performance or put a low lift cam or up to a stage 2 cam with a tune and long tube headers and I know a smile will be on your face when you crank it up...
Hate when i have to replace my socks... but when they rip and start to be quitters... they gots to go..I was actually just thinking about the socks yesterday and wondering about replacing them. It rides nice except when I hit a sharp bump or pot hike it has like an odd response. No excessive bouncing it anything though.
It does have right at 105,000 mins too.

I just crawled un the Tahoe to asses the rust situation and noticed the shocks are shot. With the rust I'm not sure if this Tahoe is worth repairing or just driving until I can trade it in. Any thoughts?View attachment 196606 View attachment 196605
What makes you think the shocks are shot???
Well, it hits bumps pretty hard, doesn't auto level when I attache my boat and I figured the torn air bladders were a pretty good indicator.![]()
Looks like just a scratch.... it should buff out.... lol
I love the ride of this thing and its had the blown air bags since I got it. I can't wait to replace them and feel the difference. Since I tow a boat a lot, I'm going with the Arnott's stock remanufactured Z55 shocks with new compressor.
Good choice... that is what I did too, before the 4/6 drop kit.
I just recently sold the Arnotts after having them on the truck for less than a year.
When I did the drop I didn't want to loose the auto leveling so I did some research and found some Monroe air shocks that were the same length as the Belltech street performance drop shocks that came with the kit and installed them instead. Shortened the auto leveling links and now the truck still levels out with kids, luggage, a trailer..... I like it.
I was actually thinking about a drop at some point, I think these big b*tches look awesome dropped. I'm not sure about dropping a 4-wheel drive though. Only time I even use Auto or 4 high is in the winter, once or twice a year, going up to the mountains when the roads are snow packed. If having 4-wheel drive isn't an issue with the drop maybe I'll just do that. I'd like to start building this thing out to 500-600hp too.
How is your ride quality after the drop? You mind linking the kit and shocks you used? If I'm going to replace the suspension here soon I might as well do the drop so I don't have to waste money. I just showed my wife your Suburban pic and a few from google search and she loved it, so its a go lol.
Damn thanks! I just found some of Tony's posts about his kits. They really seem like the way to go. I was reading somewhere on them that with the rear shock extenders you can retain the stock autohide shock height. My current airbags are blown so I need new shocks anyhow and was going to go with the Arnott's. Ah, that's on the 3/4 drop. Not sure how low I want to go yet. Guess I'll have to do some research and see what I like best. The 5/6 kit would be awesome to completely refresh the suspension system thats for sure. The kit on the Burb is Tony's 4/5-6 kit plus the adjustable panhard bar.

I bought it used here on the forum.
It rides good.... can't really tell any difference from stock unless you hit a good size dip.
If you want to keep the auto leveling rear then you will want to get a set of Monroe MA704 air shocks or equivalent.

Here is a link to my build thread if you haven't seen it already in case you are interested.

Been reading the build thread for the last 40 minutes. Very impressive to say the least. My wife isn't going to like the idea that I read it and got so many ideas though lol.You better ^^^^ken gets mad repeating himself
