I'd buy it. Mileage is the only thing you can't change.
due to Jonah saying he'd buy it I change my stance and say you should run away from it as fast as possible. His advice automatically jinxes the deal.

Thanks guys. We are working on the price at the moment with a purchase date in December, even though it is my DD until that time and only has 16500 miles as of today.

It won't be a steal, but the the wife is set on it. Everyone seems to agree that the age, low mileage and known history is worth the peace of mind and paying a little more on the front end, rather than paying less $$ upfront for more miles, unknown history and possibly eating up that savings in repairs or hidden gremlins later.

Most comps in a 100 mile radius show similar years +/- with 60-100K+ miles roughly at the same price range.
