09+ Hybrid cluster in 08?

While I know the non-hybrid clusters will work fine from newer years into older trucks, will the hybrid cluster work? I see the coolant temp gauge is replaced with an efficiency gauge, but I was curious if it would simply function as a coolant temp gauge and everything else would work the same. Primarily looking to get the added features in the DIC, like oil pressure, etc.

Interesting, so you can put the later cluster into earlier trucks? I wonder if the opposite works (minus gear display)

No idea about hybrid..but I doubt the efficiency would show coolant temp.

Oil pressure can be displayed with the BTDieselworks AutoSync device if you are looking for an alternate option.

Only the same generation - 07 -14. The 09+ gives oil pressure and that's what I want on the DIC, primarily for WAF. Have a hybrid cluster lying around so was hoping it would just 'work' but was hoping for confirmation before plugging it in.
