This last winter was brutal with the cold!! Hopefully our next house will have a 3 car garage so it won't be as big of a deal but right now this truck parks on the driveway so it makes a big difference.

Volant installed. The quality of the product is very nice but there could be a LOT of improvements made to make it much easier on the customer when installing it. They make it much harder than it needs to be

I knew you'd say that, Lee. it's a DD, not a show truck. The engine bay will get a bath......probably never honestly 
not enough time in the day for that unless I pay someone to detail it which is also way down the line for this. Maybe when I get the whole truck painted

Patience grasshoppa. You are really anxious about this amp step deal on my truck...
next up by early august is tint and alarm/remote start then I can start focusing on things like amp steps, lift, wheels/tires,....I looked at the Amps again yesterday actually as well as read the writeup on GMFS again about how to retro fit the gmt800 steps to a gmt400. I'm hoping to get them this Fall and getting them on. They'll be on before the lift but that's ok. The lift and wheels/tires will come after I've got 22's on the burb.
Come on corn cob let's see some progress

It's not a digression. It's called getting what you want. I specifically sought out a GMT400 to DD and build. I could have just as easily gone out and gotten a crew cab Denali in the 2007-2011 year range and been happy but I missed having an OBS. My care for what it's "worth" or "status symbol" value is at 0. Not saying anyone else cares or doesn't care. Just strictly responding to your use of the word "digressed".
