how to remove whats left of o2 sensor?

after they decided they needed the OEM cats more than i did, this is the rear driver side that i was left with. tried "everything" to get it out.......i need some help! this is what i was left with

Heat and an impact wrench (if you can get one to fit in that space).

Heat and torque.
Looks like you have enough room on the shoulder of the old sensor to get a pipe wrench (aka: monkey wrench) around it. You can also slip a pipe over the handle of the wrench to get even more torque... BUT before you torque away, heat the surrounding pipe with a propane torch to help the pipe expand, then torque away with the pipe wrench. If you don't have one, Harbor Freight has them for a great price: https://www.harborfreight.com/18-in-steel-pipe-wrench-61350.html

If that doesn't work, I'd weld a larger hardened bolt to it (5/8 or bigger), then use a breaker bar and hardened socket to twist it out. Or simply weld an old spare 1/2" drive socket to it and go again with the breaker bar. It should pop loose and be pretty easy to remove from there.

never seen a 02 sensor that had a allen wrench fitting, drill it most of the way out then use a bolt extractor, no sense in making it harder then it needs to be

Looks like you could get the right sized hex socket in there if you have room. But definitely heat up the pipe; hopefully the bung threads don't come out with it. Maybe heat it, then cold shock it before doing the no mercy reversy.

But not sure what youre planning on doing with the hole after you remove it? If the wiring tucked up under the truck somewhere its probably been turned off (tuned out)

I would recommend Mapp gas as a better alternative to propane. Just as available as propane and burns hotter.
