I have been searching and searching for that latch mechanism, emailed a couple online GM parts suppliers and one got back to me this morning. They said it is discontinued, and he was unable to find a dealer with one in stock.
This is the part # that was provided = 25811735

Is there an alternative or another model that can be cross-referenced and compatible with my application?

I put one of these in 6 years ago, still working.

Both are discontinued from GM. There are dealers in the states that have them in their stock. Let me know if you're interested. I can send you the dealers info.

I finally had the time to install the new latch mechanism.
Put the original switch panel back in and got it all hooked up.
The key fob works unlocking and locking but the unlock button doesn't work and my front passenger window button, will go down but not up.
I'm stumped and done messing with it for today, it's too damn hot out.

Sounds like the switches need to be cleaned. Sometimes just working the switch back and forth repeatedly will take care of it. Other times you have to disassemble the switch and clean them with a pencil eraser.
