04 Tahoe questions

hi all! Just picked up an 04 Tahoe LS, did a few upgrades ( ISS and bearing, gateway for aux ). I’ve resoldered a lightbulb by the tach, and noticed there’s a surface mounted led for the fog light indicator.. it doesn’t light up when I turn on my fog lights, but there’s an orange light next to the fog light button that does. Is it also supposed to light up on the dash?

Thank you. I was just replacing another bulb in the cluster and saw there was no resistor installed!! Thanks for confirming!!
