My truck has been in the shop for a month now.

So during a snow storm I was driving my 2005 Tahoe with 5.3. The road was really rough and the highway running at about 30 vibrates a lot because it was compacted snow. Just trying to give you a little context here. So while driving all of a sudden my oil pressure needle spung around and the truck died. During the blizzard I could see the oil pressure wires where twisted together and slowing copper. So separated them and the oil pressure gauge worked again but truck wouldn't start. After about 15 minutes I tried it again and it started so I ran and died about 5 mins later. After getting it towed home, the next day I changed out the oil pressure sender and wiring harness. Also replaced the fuel pump relay as it has a burn mark on the side. Ran the truck for a little bit in the driveway and drove around my yard. Went down the street and came back with no issue. So I'm like I got it . My wife takes the truck and dies 3 miles from my house. After letting it sit I was able to drive it to a local shop. They replaced. Cam sensor, crank sensor, put a new fuel pump in it. They pulled the computer and sent it out. It came back the fuel circuit was heating up causing the pump to stop working killing the truck. I haven't confirmed that it's a fuel pressure issue as it doesn't seem they had a gauge on it. I got a computer flagship one and installed today. After the key relearn the truck started right up and left it running while I head home and get a ride back. Get back and the truck died right there and won't restart. Waited a while it started right up.

Spend a day cleaning all the ground and inspected the hardness. No code just cranks but doesn't start. It's now being towed to another shop that works with ls motors exclusively but what are your thoughts. ?

If it's a nostart,( turning over just not starting) a few times of trying to start it codes should appear soft and or hard codes should show up. Pending or permanent. If no codes then computer is blank or security system is active. Just my opinion on reading ur post.

Need to initially determine if there is fuel pressure, injector command, and spark. Basic stuff.

Is the fuel good, or stale/old/contaminated? Take a sample at the fuel rail pressure test valve if there's pressure.

When it starts, you may need to do a cam/crank (CASE) relearn since the computer, crank sensor, and cam sensor were changed. Changing any one of those begs a relearn.

also you need to "define" no start
1. no start-starter does not engage at all (completely dead)
2. no start-but you can hear a click noise or click/click/click only
3. no start /starter is working and engine will not run
4. no start /starter is working engine starts for a second and dies

This post, in general deserves, to be a STICKY!

SO many other adjectives are used on the online forums from folks trying to describe "no start".

Hopefully OP will pop in and give us an update. Sounds like the first shop was just throwing parts at it, and didn't diagnose properly and didn't fix the underlying problem...SMH

Crank, no start according to the initial post.
missed that part....
in that case verify fuel pressure for beginners, regardless if the pump or anything else is "new"
fuel+spark+air
make sure the power/ground is good as well.
just a matter of troubleshooting the problem

my general guess is if the fuel pump was causing a overheat on the relay, there could be a undiagnosed short to ground somewhere

You can always bang on the underside of the plastic fuel tank when it won't fire up. That might jostle the fuel pump *if* that's the problem. But it would be good to verify each item (spark, fuel, etc.) while it's broke so you have an idea of the cause. That can lead to more targeted diagnostics.

This screams rodent chewing on wires to me, and there are probably more that you do not see.

Ive never seen a harness that just had wires showing copper for no reason...

If they replaced cam/crank sensor with a generic.. it could still cause an issue..
