working on cleaning up the frame in the rear and painting everything..got the front frame cleaned and painted..its not perfect, but its fine for this truck..i would be in the garage for weeks trying to get it completely clean and smooth..

got some work to do in the next few days putting everything back on..hopefully tomorrow i get the rear frame painted, front end parts all on and get started on putting the rear back together..

Making sure I have everything in order..the rest of the lowering kit should be here tomorrow..been battling with FedEX on getting it delived..they put signature required on the packages and i work 8-5 so i cant be home to sign or drive 30 miles to pick it up..pain in the ass

they are powerstop drilled and slotted rotors, powerstop calipers as well..i dont know if they are much different than OEM caliper wise, but they are powdercoated red and they were the same price as getting stock calipers from the local store..

was hoping to get the front end done tonight, but my front upper arms have not shown up yet

haha hell ya its pretty beefy..thanks for the help again. for the belltech shocks in the djm arms, whats the best approach to make them fit? grind down the sleeve in the shock to fit in the arm or bend the tabs of the arm apart to make them fit?

you think i need to paint more? I painted the hats of them, i heard that they shouldnt rust since they are some dichromate kind of dip on them

got the driver side front axle seal changed last night..took all of 5 minutes..nice to have no leaks now.

got most of the front back together last night, they gave me the wrong brake line for the front..2 different part numbers but both lines were the same, so i gotta exchange one today..after that i just have to bleed brakes, install steering components and shocks then it should be back on the ground.

rather productive today after the festivities last night..got it all back together and on the road..brakes took a little work to do, had to bleed the master, then the brakes, take it down a dirt road and get abs to fire a few times, bleed the brakes again, abs again, and bleed brakes and now we are good to go..

sitting just under 30" in the rear and 30 7/8 in the front. Gonna let it settle and find what height i want before i get it aligned..havent adjusted camber yet in the pics but it.drives and rides pretty legit.

dont mind the body haha, thats next on the list

In rear if its to low can use a lifting shackle. Or do what i did on a customers truck

265 35 22 on front on 22x9 tbss reps
widen rears to 10.5 and put in 315 30 22

pretty happy with the rear right now..gonna let things settle and then mess with the front some more to get it exactly where i want before alignment.

id like to go a bit bigger than a 265/35 if i go with 22s..i had that on my first 2 trucks and i never had a problem, but this is gonna be a little different....thats only a 29.5 tire and right now im at a 265/75/16 which is a 31.5 at a 265 wide and i dont get any rubbing..i dont know exactly what size yet, but i think i can go a little bit less low pro

where can I get a shackle for the rear? Im at 16" center of hub to fender in front, and 14.5 on drivers rear, 15.5 pass rear. I wouldnt mind just being .5" low in the rear worst case. 1.5+ is too much for me. I have to keep same size tires due to being 4x4

This?I could get half on the pass side and 1.5 on the drivers and be set?

Nothing else too new really..just been driving it. Getting 20 mpg + with 330k on it, not to bad haha.

ordered some sundown SA 6.5" speakers for the doors, threw a deck in for now. It will get getting a Pioneer avh-4400bt at some point along with a sundown SD-2 12 behind the seat for a little boom.
