Thanks bud ... I need one more pretty please?

On the engine I need the same measurement from the rubber seal in front of the wiper to the latch itself.

Mine is 36 1/4 inches.

Ok so are you ever going to change out the rear appliqués/tails/back glass? You can do what the hybrid denali's do but then add an esky third brake like too (with Sumo's mod that makes the whole led bar light up). I think it would "complete" the back end ;)

I'm not sure what you mean ... what's wrong with comparing body part sizes?
How will we know if they fit properly or if there will be too much friction?

And thank you for measuring T ... no matter what edgar says, there's nothing to be ashamed about ... it's a good size. :waytogo:

I have another favor to ask, for a devious thought just crossed my mind ...

Does anyone have a picture of the underneath of an esky or tahoe third light?
Need to see attachment points. :)

Thanks bud I just looked at it.

Unfortunately this is one of those things I have to inspect in person side to side with a non-hybrid because it's too difficult to tell looking at those pics ... especially cause my tailgate configuration is slightly different from yours and doesn't have the flip-up rear window.

Basically what I am trying to ascertain is whether I can swap my third and appliques without having to swap the entire gate.

Off to the dealership this afternoon! :)

Why not just swap the whole tail gate and the appliques/tails/third brake light?

I could ... but I'm trying to see if this can be done in an easier way and without breaking the bank. As opposed to the front end, an entire liftgate assy cost will be too much $ relative to how much this matters to me. :)

I bring doughnuts. :D
