It is easy, I would drain the radiator. Remove the top fan shroud. Remove the radiator hose from the bottom left of the water pump, remove the top cooling line from the top of the water pump. Then you will see that there is 4 nuts holding the fan/fan clutch assembly to the water pump. Remove those and then you will be able to remove the water pump, there is 4 bolts holding it to the block. Get a new water pump and bolt kit, use some thread locker red to attach the new bolts to the water pump. Make sure you really clean the engine block surface so the gaskets get a nice fit. I also apply a little bit of RTV to the gaskets and attach them to the water pump, let them dry then apply more RTV to the other side of the gasket and install the pump. Torque down the bolts to 15lbs. Now you can attach the fan/fan clutch assembly.

I would also buy a new cooling line fitting, they are made out of cheap metal and will end up breaking. You will find them next to the water pump bolt kit. I broke mine on purpose with a hammer just to get the stupid cooling line out the fitting.

Also, fan clutches and water pumps will usually give out within the same time frame. I would go ahead and get a new one also.

Sorry, check for edits.

****, I do not know, I think it is lol just be careful with it. Is the weeping hole leaking? Or is it around the gaskets? They are not that expensive, I got mine for $30, bolt kit was $5 and a new fan clutch was $65. You do not have to replace the fan clutch right now if it isn't giving you any problems

Just re use the coolant, no reason to throw it away. How old is that water pump? If you are going through the trouble of taking it off go ahead and put in a new one.

idk how old it is ive never changes it and i have put 60k miles on it, and i lost all the new coolant, due to the leaky pump, i thought it was just the rad leakn but apperently its both! it has good flow tho! so idk

If its leaking just replace it. Like said above it only costs about $30. Just reuse all of the old bolts if they look good, just be sure to use some sealer on the bolts otherwise they may leak.

Its not hard at all, just time consuming, just go slow and take pics if you have to.

Yeah, I used thread locker blue on the water pump bolts, also went with FelPro gaskets and not the ones that come with the water pump. Get the bolt kit I mentioned earlier, it is only $5 dollars, they are the bolts that assemble the fan cluth/fan together wit the water pump.
