A rustoleum clear acrylic abd rustoleums lens tint from advanced auto parts f'ed up everything I had to do huge sanding...

It was just huge globs of shit :(

Looks great man, thanks for sharing. I'm thinking of doing the same thing to my tahoe's tail lights, how is the visibility on the brake lights? I know you didn't go too dark with the nightshades, but have cops given you any trouble?

they werent to dark originally but i have redone them since. which made them darker. cops havent said anything about them yet. usually they have a problem with the front windows being tinted and or my lack of a front plate

That Rustoleum sucks. I had the same thing happen to me when I used it.

thanks guys.. ive never tryed the rustoleum stuff. seems like theres always a can of vht on hand in my garage lol

Looks very nice. I did the same to mine, about five coats and they look almost exactly like yours, just a little lighter.

Did you do your third brake light?

i usually use krylon, duplicolor, or upol just make sure you wetsand n buff when fully dry
