I have a 2005 Tahoe with Regency conversion. It came leveled already. I got underneath and it has Ground Force shocks and blue rear springs which I would guess are Ground Force as well. I currently have 305/50/20s on it and plan to switch to 285/45/22 next week which will be the same diameter. It currently rides great but I want the lower look and feel. I also would like to be able to pull a 20ft trailer (2200lbs) with my S10 Blazer on it on occasion.

Any recommendations for what I should look for?

Here is my truck now

djm 3/5.5 kit with the rear tb springs. Ride is excellent and you can use helper bags in rear no problem to tow the 2200 pounds

here goes a link to my store page
http://www.tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=88

anything else just hollar im around 24/7 for service/support

The trailer is about 2k lbs and then my Jimmy is well... a Jimmy and isnt light Im sure. lol

Hmmm I like low, but I dont know if I like it enough to drop another $950 on parts. Maybe I wont go low... I guess Ill see what my black 22" Silverado SS replicas look like on the truck later this week.

Cool thanks. So any old helper bag would be fine? Like these air lift ones?

From what I read, they dont work with the air suspension. Allow me to quote...
"Application Notes: Will not fit models with factory auto-leveling option."

Nice lookin truck bro. I would probably suggest doing a 2/3 drop then. But then again, if your not lookin to go real low anyways, maybe wait till you get your 22's and figure it out. 2/3 with 22's, and then helper bags if need, would probably work for you, and still look low and good

Not true...

My Denali has Auto-Leveling and it works just fine...

The bag sits inside your coil and does not mess with your Auto-Level shocks. When you hook your trailer up, your shocks will level your truck out. You then fill the bags with enough air JUST before the truck raises (if it raises, you can let a little air out)...This will act as shock absorbers as well and it will take some of the load off your shocks and springs.

They just tell people that it wont work for vehicles with auto-level...because a lot of people dont know what they're doing...they dont wanna be liable if some bozo messes their system up

How would you compare the handling of a Tahoe before and after this kit. I know they are heavier than a TBSS, but would the handling be more sporty meaning its not just low and would after market sway bars be compatible with your links? I'm considering changing mine up and this seems to be a complete kit and I would add helper bags just to keep it from bottoming out when loaded or towing a 12' trailer.

if you look at my page i have the handleing package which ive been doing for years. the 3/5.5 kit i have with the djm shocks corners much better than stock and when cutting the bumpstop bracket in rear your set to go. If your towing alot i just install the helper bags which are like 75 bucks and its perfectly fine.

djm offers 1.5 inch thick swaybars for these trucks now that handle really good.

djm now also offers 1.5 inch swaybars for the tahoe. Those are about $125 more than the kit above.
