The armrest on 2023 Yukon Denali center console slides back and forth, which drives me crazy when driving. I’ve seen where others have had the same issue and had the dealer do the repair. Was wondering if anyone had tackled the repair under the shade tree? Haven’t found any YouTube that goes into how to remove the sliding top cover. Any info would be much appreciated!

I used outdoor industrial strength Velcro (to endure temp swings inside the vehicle) as a temporary fix until the part is available from GMC for a warranty repair. It worked great! And it peels right off without damaging your interior. I put a strip on the back edge of the frame of center console and the other strip under the sliding portion of the armrest. Once the Velcro is installed, Slide the armrest back firmly and the Velcro will adhere. Boom fixed
