What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

It was finally warm enough to get the Door Flares on. China Strikes again tho. I had to add 3 more layers of VHB Tape to them just to get them to touch the door.
Also Drivers side 1/4 flare touches the door flare probably because there's nothing up front for that flare to bolt to so its hanging a bit. But all in all I think it looks good. Alot better than looking at rust.

it's all in the tuning, used to a guy that could tune the throttle blade speed on gm ecm's. but hptuners would never define it.

banks has a nice add on throttle tuner that looks much better designed than power Commander

From what I've read on the HPTuners forum, modifying throttle response in the GM ECU can cause it to throw codes, as there's some form of internal checking.

The Banks item is nice for a couple of reasons: 1) Since it's connected to the OBDII port, it knows what gear you are in and will disable twitchy throttle response in reverse, and 2) it can be added as part of a package with their iDash gauge.

if you think your throttle is slow, you should feel a hybrid throttle lol. it's like a 2 sec lag sometimes haha

You know it's because the target demographic for GM SUVs / trucks are soccer moms and elderly fudds.

Ebay Specials. Had my Buddy Single Stage paint them for me as well. I'd say overall I'm about 76.34% happy with them. I would recommend them but just know its not gonna be a simple bolt on unless you have an XL. I bought them to hide the rust on the Quarters and fenders. Which they do a good job at that and will buy me a couple years before it shows again.

I feel like it shouldn't be that bad in a normal one? unless since you're rolling it needs to decide on a tranny gear before opening the throttle?


once rolling above 30mph I don't have much lag, it is soft thou. mine is only really bad from a stop. ease into it and it's fine, but if you hit it quickly like to pull out fast, it has to decide what to do based on throttle pedal speed, decide if electric is enough, if not. then start the engine, spin up internal stuff to a gear ratio it wants(it's cvt ish) , then smoothly engage the clutches. then open the throttle to drive away, all without a torque converter to cushion it, so it's not jerky.


just to much shit going on, if you have to pull out quickly into traffic, it's best to tap it first to get the engine started and then it's more ready to go.

Finally got the second fan shroud delivered...
This one's covered in mud, but everything looks to be in good shape otherwise. So I'll give it a good wash and put my brand new motors in with my fan blades. Should be all set after that.

So now I have two sets of used motors and blades and pigtails... Technically three sets of motors except one of mine was making bad noises which is why I bought new ones.

I messaged him, and then found out he was booted off the Corvertte forums for allegedly scamming people.

I'm also contacted a dyno shop kinda far from me (there's nothing in NH near me) to see if they can do dyno/road tuning. I think my issues are just beyond what email tunes can deal with, and requires a tuner in the driver's seat to observe everything in real-time.

In the meantime, I installed fresh wipers on all three arms, and threw in a new deep air-filter. It was even made in the USA!

Try to get some pictures of the broken fan shroud that arrived, I believe there is glass fiber, but I'm still going to play with some heat and see what happens.
Also found this BB sitting in the groove on the front of the fan. Odd

And then I realized that the second shroud that I bought also is cracked, right on a seem from the mold I assume. In the very middle of the two fans. I'll make something work for sure.

for that center break you could get a piece of rectangular aluminum or mild steel, cut it into (2) 4" strips, drill a hole on each end and use it as a brace for that break right in the center, drill corresponding holes on each side of the break and bolt it on. That will be stronger than trying to bond it back together, which you could apply also with some epoxy.
i'm poor I have always figured out ways to fix things if it is at all possible.
you can do whatever to it right there as nothing will be touching it.
with the inside being curved you could bend a couple washers the same angle and use a couple stand-offs or short sleeves, unless you can round off the bracing metal with some kind of tool for the inside. or just use a couple big bent washers on the inside I don't think it is critical area that will continue to come apart just needs to be braced to keep from wiggling at all.
