Ordered the TEMU package. rear mid console knobs for 5 bucks a pair? Yes please. Also grabbed a pair of second row pilot seat armrest plugs, a funky looking set of stickers claiming to restore the front AC cluster buttons to original beauty (highly doubt it). As a grand finisher, a plastic "shelf" that's form-fit into the mid console itself, adding a nifty layer to drop your phone and whatever into without them going into the void. Probably should have went with a dashboard cover but I had a golden rule; the junkyard guy wanted to charge me 20€ for just one tiny piece of plastic so i wanted to see what all else I could get for that price, knob included.

You do realize you will now be forced to share the links or descriptions for the knobs and other stuff, right? :p
All my knobs are in tact but a few of the auto AC buttons have worn.
I've seen the stickers but I may just send out the assembly to be redone correctly.
At around $100 it is way more than the stickers but it will look factory fresh.

Aye aye, I shall post an update with pictures when and if I receive the items. As a word of warning; would never type any credit card information into that site though (the amount of spam popups was alarming to say the least). Luckily they accept paypal. The sticker set was around 3 dollars if I recall correctly. They *do* have lighter socket covers as well btw. I wasn't missing them so I didn't order any.

Finally got the fluids in the diffs and transfer case changed out. Leaking pinion on rear diff may not have been leaking - some dummy overfilled it previously. Filled to level and we'll see if it continues to leak. Rear Timbren bumps/auxiliary springs inserted where old bump stops had rotted off. Underneath now buttoned up other than brakes/front hubs before the Oregon Trail trip next year.

New tow mirrors installed that pivot the correct way for car washes. Got it washed and waxed, not that it needed it or anything. Pulled the door ding strips off - that's an improvement in the looks department - but found the passenger door had been involved in the right front corner wreck that I knew about when I bought it. Pulled off paint down to bondo, so think I'll sand everything down and put a Trail Boss or Z71 or AT4 or some other decal over it.

New tires are next.

Battery died (had a group 48 in there) and wouldn't reliably hold a charge. I searched around and found that 94R "should" be the OEM size so I replaced the dead 48 with a 94R from Napa. While I was able to get it in there by moving the coolant overflow tank, it is TIGHT. It also doesn't sit perfectly flush as it sits on the "lip" of the front of the tray. I added a piece of rubber so that its not plastic on metal, but I'm not thrilled with the fit, I'd go group 48 if I did this again. Its also pretty tight against the coolant tank now (I put a rubber strip between them so there is some padding as well).

Tried one of those cheap supermarket headlight restoration kits today (small pads of different grit sandpaper, small tubes of polish and "sealant" wax)

For a ten dollar fix it isn't too shabby. Especially good for removing yellowness and fog. For deeper scratches you need to apply more elbow grease though. Good enough.

I think the way to go would be to apply UV-rated spraycan clear-coat, but since the result isn't perfect (there's still a bit of fog near the blinker edge and visible scratching on the bottom part) I'll have a re-do next year. the stuff in the second tube says it needs to be re-applied every 3 months which make me think it's just a liquid wax really.

I used this stuff on my warranty replacement headlights because the first set sun ate them up. Tony above pointed me to this. seems to be amazing stuff.

I didn't need the remover spray since they wren new. Just the sealer, and then ppf install over that.

I did play with the Yellow remover on some old lights, and it's some strong stuff. the yellow washes off, but don't leave it on to long. seems like it can soften plastic if left on long.

Only downfall us the price--of youre only doing your car. You can make dome money on the dide tho. When I had my business I charged $75 per car. It's great stuff.
Make sure you keep that stuff inside the house when you're not going to use it.

Re-did my grounds because I noticed constant corrosion on my negative terminal and my lights started dimming. I think I solved my headlights dimming but my interior lights are still dimming with my music…

I’m trying to understand how that can happen given I upgraded all my ground to 0 awg OFC, and have a 300a alternator. I also tested my battery and got 100% health

I really need to ditch the clarion amp I have, it’s been nothing but problems since I bought it….
