I have a 2000 Yukon Denali. The rear cargo door on the drivers side is missing the piece that links the handle to the rods. I thought it was an e-clip, but that doesn’t seem to fit. I can’t find any pictures of it. Anyone know what it is and where to get it.

It looks like it clips on and wraps around the upper rod right??
Yes. I’m assuming there is a short 90° bend at the end of the rod. Insert the clip into the hole on the handle, press the 90° section of the rod into the clip and then swing the clip down to lock in to the main section of the rod.

Here is a picture of the same style clip on a truck tailgate handle. You can see where the clip goes into the hole, then the rod is pressed in, locking the clip into the hole, then the clip is rotated to snap onto the main rod.

That’s kind of what it looks like. My rods go into a plate at a 90 degrees each. I think it would work. Now I get to pay 7 or 8 bucks shipping on a 3 dollar part.

Check your local Autozone or O’reillys. Might also check Amazon if you have prime.

They had it at Autozone if I wanted to pay for a bunch of stuff I didn’t need.

I got the part, but I don’t think it’s the right one. The pictures will hopefully help.
