Can you mark the picture somehow as to which linkage or connection you're trying to replace? I see two of the hinged ones, but those look somewhat intact. I don't see any loose rods.

It’s the round silver thing I need something to go over and hold the black plate in.

A large washer and a c-clip, maybe?

I may try a snap ring. I have the pliers for them.

I guess it could but I'd back it up with a fender washer or something to take the rubbing.

I went to the dealership and they said that I could only buy the whole latch assembly. 120 dollars later I will have it tomorrow.
