Nothing. Been laid up in one of those special rooms with adjustable beds and staff prodding you every four hours to take blood, or wrap something around your arm that pumps up ....

But while being driven home, I saw my twin pass by in front of us. Same color, barn doors, not sure of the year but OBS.

Hope it's nothing too serious.

Drove Betty today. She has sat for far too long but the husband had CMC arthroplasty so I've been taking care of him. I felt the need to open her up a bit on the highway. Tim was not happy with the pic of the speedo at 80. I did correct him that's probably more like 74 due to tires and wheels but he didn't really appreciate that. Regardless, I had a ball on the way into work.

Shined up the '97 GT. Washed and waxed. I pulled it out of the garage for a final wipe down and windows, but the rain started spitting. Hoping the sun peaks out and I will rip to the gas station for some 94 octane.

Finally fixed the passenger window that wouldnt roll but a 1/4 of the way down. Couldn't lock or unlock the door with window down. Took the door apart to find the power door lock had popped a rivet. Tapped both out and used a couple small screws and nuts. That window got stuck right before covid so since 2019 :(

Traded it away...I am sad to do it, but just couldn't really get in anymore with my disability. If you are wondering, I traded even for an 07 Chrysler 300c. At lesat I didn't lose the 5.7 power as this has the hemi. I will still be lurking around as I have had 2 99 Tahoe's and a 99 Yukon. i love these trucks.

One of the reasons I got rid of the Sebring is that it was too low and hard to get in and out of. I have the same problem with the Taurus, but not as bad. There is a bit of step up into this, but getting out is loads easier than a car.

I have major issues with my feet and the right one is starting to deform. it was too much pressure to get in. With this car I am not climbing in but just stepping in. With the lack of strength in my legs I can spin out and support myself standing. Harder, but way safer for me. Plus I can't feel my feet anymore, so just dropping out of the truck was a challenge. I will miss it for sure.

I'm sorry to hear this. I hope you can get enjoyment out of your new ride, and that it may contribute to your quality of life.

Thank you. So far I will admit that I don't love it like the tahoe. But is easier in and out for sure. I have to get used to the smaller space and knowing I can't go anywhere I want. I will miss that feeling for sure. The on road driving experience is pretty good. I have missed the power and handling of a performance based car.

I miss driving my Yukon on a daily basis. I love sitting up high, and being able to see further at traffic up ahead on the highway. I can tell the truck is getting vintage, because people have been giving the thumbs up and getting excited. I parked it until Dinosaur gas comes down, or I have an unexpected, sudden influx of cash! Lol

How do I find the build date on this beast? The date it rolled off the line?
